We don’t know who Diaper David is, but we do know that he’s the creepiest baby we’ve ever seen. Babies are supposed to be cute, cuddly, and innocent. That’s why this illustration of Diaper David is so disturbing. We hate to talk down on anyone’s artistic abilities, but David looks like a deranged drawing of a scary child instead of a cute baby.

David’s pure black eyes and toothless smile are the epitome of a horror film character. If anything, the innocent smile makes this baby look all the more creepy. Plus, the red spill on the floor behind him is incredibly scary. We know it’s supposed to be something like marinara sauce, but we can’t help but turn this book cover into a horror film movie poster. Sorry, Diaper David.
