This arrangement of toys looks like something out of a Surrealist nightmare. Someone spotted these Thomas the Tank Engine toys at a local shop and simply had to share the creepiness with the rest of us. Thomas and his friends look up at us as disembodied faces attached to some kind of cardboard tube.

Even though we know these disembodied faces belong to Thomas, Percy, James, and Gordon, it’s still unsettling. Their wide-open eyes are staring into the abyss of our souls.
