#4: Is That a Euphemism?
It might be weird to think about it in such terms, but every decade has its slang words. These days, kids and teenagers use words and phrases that leave their parents or grandparents scratching their heads and the other way around. Our grandparents use all kinds of phrases we aren’t familiar with today.
This grandma had a nice euphemism she used whenever an attractive guy would pop up on TV. To let everyone know what she thinks of him, she said she would let him eat crackers in her bed. That was probably a nice way of saying she’d let him do other unspeakable things. Go, grandma!
