It’s made for a mining dump truck, which begs the question, how large is the mining dump truck? To drive the point home, this guy is posing next to the giant tire with a regular-sized car tire. How measly.
This giant tire is easily twice the height of this man. It’s so large that it doesn’t even look real. These tires definitely exist, and they are as expensive as they are large. Some estimates say a single tire costs around $60,000. That’s a whole lot of rubber for a whole lot of dough.
