#4: Prehistoric Crocodile vs. Human Hand
Our modern-day crocodiles are descendants of prehistoric crocodiles that lived alongside the dinosaurs. Yes, crocodiles are technically modern-day dinosaurs! As with any prehistoric species, its ancient ancestors were much larger. This prehistoric crocodile skull is pretty large when compared to a human hand. Can you imagine getting your hand stuck between its jaws? No, thank you!
We’re not sure which prehistoric species of crocodile this skull belongs to, but it’s pretty terrifying. Surprisingly, this ancient skull isn’t the largest there is. There are plenty of other examples of prehistoric crocodile skulls that are much, much larger. Our modern-day crocs can be pretty dangerous, so just imagine how intimidating their ancestors were back in the day.
