#26: Jellyfish vs. Scuba Diver
Did you have any idea jellyfish could get this big? We didn’t either! This isn’t a fake image. There really are jellyfish out there that grow to be larger than the average human. The ocean is full of surprises. Allow us to introduce the lion’s mane jelly, the largest jellyfish out of all 200 species of true jellyfish.

These jellies prefer to float around in open waters. They need plenty of space because their tentacles can grow up to 120 feet long. Yes, we are just as terrified as you are when looking at this picture. Most of us are used to thinking of jellyfish as tiny creatures that pack a powerful sting, but this is a whole other ball game.
