This Twitter user shared someone else’s embarrassing story, therefore proving that yes, other people WILL remember embarrassing things that you do out in public. Sorry. This person’s parents experienced a case of mistaken identity at a gas station one day, and they still tell the story because it’s hilarious. While the poster’s mom went in to use the bathroom, their dad stayed in the car to wait. Things got weird from there on out.
While their dad was waiting, a strange woman he didn’t know casually opened the car door and sat down in the passenger seat like it was no big deal. Having a sense of humor, this person’s dad told the stranger that he could only take her “as far as Chicago.” It was with that funny line that the poor woman realized she had sat in the completely wrong car! To be fair, the woman was traveling in a car of the exact same model and color. Maybe she was just really tired from her travels and got them mixed up.
