#29: First Date Fiasco
First dates can be nerve-wracking and some people don’t always put their best foot forward. This woman shared her mortifying first date story and it cracked us up. The restaurant she was meeting someone at had two piano players, each of them playing on identical pianos. Blown away, she commented to her date how cool it was that the restaurant hired two synchronized players.
She very quickly realized that she sounded like a complete idiot, because there weren’t two synchronized players. There was only one guy playing the piano, and he was seated in front of a full-length mirror. It’s not that big of a deal that she didn’t notice the mirror at first, but having this be the first impression on a date was probably embarrassing enough to ruin the whole vibe of the night.
