Love can happen when you least expect it, and sometimes it can hurt other people. The poster’s grandma was dating someone who went off to war. This young man had asked their frat brother to “look after” her while he was away. While we’re sure this person’s grandma could have easily looked after herself, it sounds like the best friend did that and more. They ended up falling in love with each other.

Obviously, this guy was the poster’s grandfather, and he had stolen her grandma’s heart while her actual boyfriend was away. Not cool, man, not cool.
