If you’re a book person, there are a few things that you really love: discovering a cozy bookstore where the friendly and wise owner wears a knit sweater and a cat winds around the piles of secondhand novels; a brand new book with a fresh, uncracked spine; an ancient university library full of dark wood and endless rows of leather-bound tomes from another age; “shelf candy,” which are books with a beautiful spine that look gorgeous in your collection.
