Conflict of Interest
This story involves some shady hiring practices and a definite conflict of interest. A director-level employee of a company slowly but surely started replacing the company’s full-time employees with contract workers. While some companies might do this to cut costs, it creates high turnover rates and decreased work quality. Turns out, this director had ulterior motives.

This guy and his wife conveniently owned the temp agency that was supplying the company with contract workers. What’s more, this “temp agency” wasn’t even a legitimate business. It was a giant scam to make money in finder’s fees for each new hire. Even worse, many of these contract workers weren’t getting fully paid. Thankfully, this guy was eventually busted.
