Watching all of those movies growing up that took place in colder climates was always a little spooky because you never knew if someone was going to get trapped under an icy lake and not make it out. And I just can’t imagine why someone would want to do that in real life…

Arthur Guerin-Boeri, a French diver swam 394ft in around 3 minutes in Finland’s Lake Sonnanen, and holds the record for the longest under-ice swim. That has got to be one of the coolest swims of his life! The French must be super disciplined because that is one super impressive achievement!
