#46: A Message for All Men
Fathers-to-be often use terms such as “we’re pregnant” and not “we’re expecting,” as if they are the ones who are pregnant. This group of ladies has a message for these men: if you’re not the one squeezing a watermelon-sized person out of your body, you don’t get to say “we’re pregnant”. It’s the woman who’s pregnant – you’re there along for the ride.
Well, that’s not completely true. A lot of men step up when their wife is pregnant and help her get through this period, and when she gives birth, they become wonderful fathers. See? We can give credit when credit is due. But men have to give women the credit for being the ones who go through pregnancy and labor.
