#13: The Ball’s in Your Court
This is a prime example of why English is so complicated for people to learn. So many words have different meanings, and without explicit context, misunderstandings are bound to happen. I love how she assured him it wouldn’t be a problem, though. That was very nice of her.

It’s also funny that the guy even thought to warn her. I always assumed that tennis balls were fair game in this dog-eat-dog world. Whoever is fastest wins the toy. Isn’t that how it works? I wouldn’t be upset with someone’s dog if they snatched up our tennis balls at the dog park.
