Amusing Times People Misheard One Word That Completely Changed the Meaning of the Sentence

It’s times like these that it would make more sense to rename those slithering creatures with something a bit more apt, like a “nope noodle.” Everyone would know what that meant, and there wouldn’t be any confusion. Still, S here has a thing or two to learn about the jungle and war in general if they’d willingly eat an errant snack off the jungle floor.

I’d have thought this was a test, personally, and asked many follow-up questions. Was it a mushroom? Did it come in packaging? Was there an army label on it, or are we talking about a convenience store bag of chips? For all S knows, that hypothetical snack could have been poisoned. Therefore, in all honesty, their answer was wrong either way.
