Surprisingly (or not), most of the world views the United States in a much different way than Americans do. While most Americans acknowledge that politics and public opinion seem very divisive these days, many people just shrug it off and continue scrolling on their own social media echo chambers. 

From the outside looking in, however, many people are alarmed.
