#3: An Educational Divide
The United States is a land of extremes in some cases. Education is one example of that dichotomy. The quality of public school education is hit, or miss and much of it depends on where the school is located. Public schools get funding from local income and property taxes. So, if your kids attend school in an affluent area, they will get more resources and support in the classroom.

A school in a less wealthy area inevitably receives less funding, resources, and support. This can result in overcrowded classrooms, outdated school books, and overworked, exhausted teachers. It’s a bummer to think that the quality of each kid’s education simply depends on where they live. If only each kid had access to the same kind of high-quality, supportive educational environment.
