On top of the world
This isn’t a creation of Photoshop, although we’re inclined to believe so upon first glance; rather, it’s another optical illusion. This is the city hall garden in Paris, created by French artist François Abélanet. This isn’t a regular garden, as you might have guessed, but a one-of-a-kind 3D grass globe. Now, that’s something you don’t see every day, and here we thought the only attractions in Paris were the Eiffel tower and the croissants.
This photo was taken at a specific angle from which the 3D grass installation looks to be bigger than the people standing on it. The people cleverly cooperated with the photographer to maximize this effect and create a photo that could win an optical-illusion contest, if such a thing existed.
