Optical-illusion forest
Upon first glance, it seems as if we are looking at two photos of the same forest, taken during different seasons and in a different light. You could even go as far as saying it isn’t the same forest, but two distinct regions, the one a cold, Northern area and the other a warm, Eastern place. However, you can probably guess what we’re going to say next.
This is one photo of one forest. Confused? There’s a (not-so-simple) explanation. The photo was taken at a Hungarian forest, where a toxic aluminum substance was spilled on the ground, covering the ground and the bottom parts of the trees. This is the reason why only the bottom halves of the trees were painted in red, resulting in this very confusing photo.
