#39: It Has Layers
The packaging for this medication has layers. Lots of layers. It can feel like medication companies make it as inconvenient as possible to access their products. This example just proves that point. The medication is packaged in the usual foil packs, but those packs are inside two layers of cardboard.
Why does someone have to break through two separate cardboard boxes to get to their acid reflux medication? The whole process is stressing us out and giving us heartburn! There has to be a better way to package this stuff, right? Maybe the manufacturing companies already have a process down and simply don’t want to spend money on developing a new way.
