#37: Fresh Produce
Okay, this packaging fail is just plain funny. A local supermarket buys Pixy Stix in bulk and then repackages them for customers. We’re not sure who needs this many Pixy Stix, but that’s not the point. The point is that this grocery store unnecessarily repackages candy and sells it in the produce section.
We have to admit that this is a creative way to sell more candy. Shoppers can get a ton of Pixy Stix for only $3.84! What a deal! Selling individual Pixy Stix seems weird, so packaging them all together makes sense. However, the supermarket didn’t have to package this candy as if it were a piece of raw steak in the meat department.
