#13: A Mildly Infuriating Elevator
Although it is subtle, the upside-down 8 begs attention. You can’t help but notice the uncomfortable arrangement of the “ohs,” and to add to your discomfort, this floor leads to the Clinical Trials Unit. So, as you slowly ride up the elevator, uncomfortably contemplating the meaning of the inverse 8, your mind spirals into wondering if the clinical trial began the moment you noticed the upside-down number.
And suddenly, what began as a simple ride up the elevator turned into a twilight zone ride to the floor of clinical tests. Don’t you want to just reach over and twirl the button? I wonder how often the elevator opens on that floor simply because people have pressed Floor 8, trying to spin that button around.
