#5: More Water Than Melon
There’s nothing quite like cutting into your first watermelon of the season to mark the end of a long winter and the sunny days ahead. However, cutting into this celebratory melon was depressing, as it was full of the hard, bitter white part.
Instead of a sweet and juicy melon to enjoy, you’re left with a bitter reminder that life isn’t always so sweet. To top it all off, choosing the melon at the grocery store is a gamble in the first place, and now that time is time wasted. You really can’t tell from the outside how it will be inside. I bet this person even did the knock test to “hear” how ripe this watermelon was. Better luck next time.
