#36: We’re Not on the Same Page
Sure, home network television shows and minimalist interior designers made backward books a trend. Still, if you read the books, this is just weird. You’d spend so much time turning each book to find the one you want. If this were a style choice, it would be one thing if their shelves were organized using a color-coded method.
But in this case, they shelved and organized the bookshelf poorly. Not only can you not tell what the books are, but they are not aesthetically pleasing (which is what the backward book trend was about). The warm tones of the book pages are supposed to feel inviting and calming, but in this case, the books look like piles of chaos.
