#4: A Passive-Aggressive Dinner
This restaurant is so sure you will love their service that you won’t even consider not leaving a tip. Perhaps they’re banking on the fact that most people don’t like confrontation and will instead opt to pay the tip. So, instead of checking out privately and getting on your way, you must have a confrontation if you don’t want to leave a tip.
This passive-aggressive way of asking for extra money is akin to other awkward sales tactics that leave you, the innocent party, uncomfortable and annoyed. However, don’t get too worked up; if you really don’t want to leave a tip, click the dollar button or percentage button and input zero.
