#6: Sting Like a Bee
This image shows a microscopic side-by-side of a bee stinger and a metal needle. If you look at this photo without context, it probably looks confusing. It just goes to show how thin and sharp a bee’s stinger truly is. We may think we can see one with the naked eye, but a stinger has a ton of microscopic detail.
It’s pretty wild to think that a metal sewing needle is bigger than a bee stinger. Sewing needles are tiny! Even though a bee stinger is smaller than your average needle, it packs quite a punch. We all know how painful a bee sting can be. This tiny point can also inject venom in the blink of an eye. Mother Nature is truly miraculous and kind of terrifying.
