#40: Symmetry in Nature
The symmetry of nature is astonishing at times. When it comes to the startling and majestic appearance of a barn owl, this comparison is kind of funny. A lot of people have noticed that a barn owl’s face looks a lot like an apple cut in half. Its dark eyes look like apple seeds, and its feathers look like the line going down the middle of the apple.

The shape of a barn owl’s face is even similar to the heart shape of an apple. It’s pretty wild to think that two completely unrelated things can look so similar. What business does an apple have looking like a barn owl? It’s such a weird and beautiful coincidence. On another note, that owl looks extremely interested in snacking on that apple.
