#6: No Hecks Given
Most of us can remember being self-conscious and hyper-aware of what other people thought of us when we were younger. Being a teenager can be especially tough. The judgment of your peers seems to be the only thing that matters, and it can be overwhelming at times. We are here to say not to worry because it gets better.
As we get older, most of us stop caring so much about what other people think. Whatever the reason, it’s very liberating to not be constantly worried about saying the “right” thing or doing the “cool” thing in a social situation. It’s freeing and kind of fun to throw caution to the wind and see what happens when you say what you really think!
