#2: Scrub-a-dub
Cleaning is a dreaded chore for many, but others find cleaning their homes to be kind of fun. It can be overwhelming sometimes, so it’s natural to want to ask for help. Honestly, though, you can’t trust anyone to clean the way you want them to. How many times have you asked your partner to wash the dishes, only to find food remnants left on the plates in the cupboard the next day? Yuck.
This quote is calling this need to clean a toxic trait. Is it toxic if it’s right, though? We don’t think so. If you want a clean home up to your standards, you have to do it yourself. If you give someone else a chance to prove themselves, they will fail and everyone will just end up upset. It’s better to know yourself and not ask for help if you know you’ll just end up redoing everyone else’s cleaning routines!
