One thing they all have in common? …Existential dread and anxiety? No way! It’s intermittent fasting! Okay, not really. But millennials very often like to rename and repackage things that already exist.
Take skipping breakfast, for example. This tweet makes a good point that the trend of intermittent fasting is basically just skipping breakfast. “Skipping breakfast” sounds unhealthy and boring, though, so millennials across the globe have marketed this simple act as a trendy new fad diet. Granted you can belong to any generation and still feel like skipping breakfast, but this seems to be a millennial phenomenon at the moment.
