Now, I don’t know about you, but I’ve always said that our parents are the reason we turned out the way we did. And Mikel Jollett seems to agree! In this tweet, he points out that Gen X was raised with a completely different set of rules than the younger generations.

While our parents allowed us to take risks (within reason, of course), Millennials and Gen Z were brought up with helicopter parents who hovered over them every second of the day. But who’s to say which style of parenting will be more effective in the long run? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see which generation ends up ruling the world!
