We Can Be the Change We Seek
Alright, let’s talk about Gen X and their upbringing. Some say it was all fun and games, but this tweet begs to differ. It seems that while Gen Xers were taking risks and enjoying their freedom, mental health wasn’t given much thought. Well, excuse us for not being so perfect! But in all seriousness, it’s important to recognize the faults of the past so we can strive to do better in the future.

And let’s face it; we wouldn’t be the sassy and resilient Gen Xers we are today if it weren’t for those formative experiences. So let’s embrace our past, flaws and all, and continue to grow and improve as we move forward. Just because we turned out alright with this interesting style of education doesn’t mean our kids have to go through the same thing.
