#17: Pay Me for My Time
Being asked to do things that are above their pay grade or completely unrelated to their role is a common phenomenon among many women in the workplace. For a long time, it was acceptable to ask women to do extra things from time to time in the workplace, but these days many women will only do these things if they are financially compensated.
The fact that this woman is making an extra $500 a month for doing things around the office that they would otherwise not pay her for is genius. Well, to be honest, it shouldn’t have to be genius as much as it should just be expected. At least this woman is actually getting paid for her services…
