And even though some might say that the person affected has every right to cause a scene (and they do), it isn’t always the intention of the person who instigated the act in the first place…
We know that it often isn’t the intention but rather the impact that a certain act has on a person, but sometimes the intention does matter… The fact that HR realized what they had done straight away and apologized, this situation was easily diffused. Women often have the ability to understand other women and their struggles which can aid in conflict resolution.
