The Better Employee
Unsurprisingly enough, being a married woman is also considered a disadvantage for many companies. Is there anything women are actually allowed to do or to be nowadays? Some companies feel so strongly about maternity and married women they would even consider firing their female employees because of it.
Honestly, I’m glad she got fired! No one deserves to work for a place with these kinds of practices and sexist culture. Being a working woman is not easy, but that doesn’t mean you should be scared to fight for what is rightfully yours. What’s your take? Should companies be allowed to fire people based on their marital status?
