#11: That’s It?
We’ve said it once, and we’ll say it again. Beauty and personal hygiene brands are notorious for giving shoppers the least amount of product possible. They love to charge exorbitant prices for the smallest amount of product because it gives the impression that it’s “fancy” or “opulent” or something like that.
Don’t be fooled by the packaging. Even drugstore brands like Nivea try their hardest to give you less for more. This shopper recently took apart their Nivea cream dispenser and was shocked to find that there was barely any product in the container. This dispenser is designed to look huge, but the actual product only fills a small portion of the packaging. There’s not really much we can do about it, but it’s important to be aware.
