#44: A Bunch of Hot Air
This pet owner felt scammed by their vet when they had to purchase $60 eyedrops for their beloved dog. They had to push a whole lot of air out of this tube before getting any product. Our storyteller discovered that only about 75% of the tube contained the eyedrop product when all was said and done.
Our storyteller was infuriated by this rip-off, but they couldn’t do anything. Their dog needs the eyedrops to stay healthy, so they will keep shelling out $60 every time they need a refill. It’s a catch-22 that no one wants to be in. We hate when customers are forced to spend exorbitant amounts of money on less-than-stellar products because they are necessities.
