Another Typo
This biblical fact tells of another typo that came about in the 1611 version of the King James Bible. In this case, the incorrect line reads “she went into the city,” and it comes from the Book of Ruth chapter three, verse 15. That means they were referring to God as a female! And as you can imagine, this was a highly unthinkable concept back in the day.
The “she” in that line is supposed to refer to God, who is otherwise described as being male. Since then, that error has become famous and has led this version of the Bible to take the name the” she Bible.” But when you think of how long the Bible is, isn’t it more surprising that there are no more typos like this one?
