Long Lives
According to recent studies, the worldwide average life expectancy is just under 73 years. However, if you have read any of the Old Testament, then you know that it claims many of the most famous biblical figures lived for centuries. I wonder if we will ever find out their secret for such longevity!

For example, Methuselah lived to be almost 1,000 years old, according to the Bible, and many other notable people lived lives that were almost just as long. The big change in life span happened after the great flood. After that, the longest anyone seemed to live was about 200 years, which is still more than double the average lifespan today.
