Behind-the-Scenes Blunders in TV Shows That Essentially Made Them Better

If you’ve watched the hit series Prison Break, you know that Warden Pope was a bit of a goofy character. When he found out inmate Michael Scofield outsmarted him while helping him build the Taj Mahal model, actor Stacy Keach really got into character while filming. In order to show the audience just how ticked off he really was, Pope used a lamp to smash the model to pieces.

While doing so, you will notice the actor stops and stares down at his hand, realizing that he is bleeding after cutting himself during his fit of rage. That scene was not staged (well, not completely), and Keach really did injure his hand. The bloody proof can be seen during the episode since the writer decided to keep it in.
