Not so long ago, it was the man’s job to financially support their partners, as many women were outcasted from the workforce. However, things have changed dramatically in the past few years, and more couples are adopting a 50/50 approach when it comes to their expenses.
Splitting everything equally is important, and it’s a vital step towards a less chauvinistic society. But it can be tricky when one person makes considerably more money than the other and is not willing to compromise on expenses. Missing out on life just because your partner can’t afford certain experiences is sad and is actually damaging the relationship more than we might think.
