Sure, companies don’t want to get sued by people who spill their coffee on themselves, but do we really need a warning label for something as obvious as “hot”? I think we can all agree that warning labels have gotten a little out of hand. If you need a warning label to tell you that something is hot…
…Then perhaps you shouldn’t operate whatever it is in the first place. Maybe instead of warning labels, we should focus on education and common sense. Or we could just start printing warning labels on everything. “Caution: may cause common sense deficiency,” I think that would terrify a lot of people!
