47 Things That Were Invented Because of People’s Stupidity

Sure, they’re supposed to be a safety feature, but let’s be real here: They’re nothing more than a nuisance. First of all, they take forever to go up and down, causing constant traffic backups and making you late for work. Second, they’re completely unnecessary. Who in their right mind would cross a railroad track while a train is coming? 

They’re not trying to swim across a river with an alligator in it… In my opinion, these bars are nothing more than a way to waste our time and keep us all in a perpetual state of frustration. Or perhaps they’re trying to keep us safe. Who knows? Either way, if people could stop giving governing bodies reasons to slow us down, that would be great.
