#22: There’s a Limit
I can understand the need to prevent people from buying up all the toilet paper during a pandemic, but gift cards? Come on. We’re not all going to start hoarding Starbucks cards like they’re going out of style. And then there are the ridiculous limit amounts. $500 maximum per day?
Please, I spend more than that on groceries in a week. I guess some people just can’t be trusted with the responsibility of purchasing gift cards. Next thing you know, they’ll start requiring background checks and a waiting period for gift card purchases. These limits are nothing more than a silly attempt at micromanaging people.
