“There is No Such Thing as a Fool-Proof System”: These Inventions Were the Result of People’s Stupidity

NFTs are those digital “assets” that people are paying millions for, despite the fact that they’re just… well, digital? I mean, call me old-fashioned, but I like actually to own things that I spend my hard-earned money on. Something about paying an excessive amount of cash for a picture of a cartoon monkey just doesn’t sit right with me. 

And don’t even get me started on the environmental impact of all this blockchain nonsense. It’s enough to make me want to go back to the good old days of pogs and beanie babies. At least then I could physically hold my investment… and use them to embarrass my younger siblings.
