This idea is so amazing, so brilliant in the simplicity of its logic, that it seems a shame to waste it on a birthday card. This could basically be a child’s “get out of jail free” card (irony intended) for even the worst of domestic misdemeanors, whether committed by accident or deliberately.

The helpless parent will have nothing to say to counter the charge that no matter how bad their kid is behaving, it could be much worse. So, while the card is a pretty good idea, I would try to think of a different one and save this perfect excuse for when I really need it.
