44. Learning Responsibility the Clever Way
This is brilliant on many levels. For one thing, it will make the kids less opposed to you taking things away in the first place, as it’s not an immediate consequence that the kids want to resist, but puts the timer on them so they don’t end up taking anger out on you.
It teaches them to think responsibly, manage their time smartly, and accept the fact when the time has come to an end as they were aware of the battery draining the entire time. Good parenting all around, and not a bad habit for us adults to try and practice as well.
