Don’t Put Me Down
The lowest thing you can do is put down someone’s profession. No matter what you do, as long as you provide for your family and yourself, there’s no reason to be ashamed of your profession. If that’s the path you’ve chosen, no one has the right to put you down and shame you for it.
As this person points out, there’s an avenue to work your way up in every profession, especially if you’re good at what you do and you’re willing to put in the effort. It all depends on how you look at things and how seriously you take your job; if you look at it as a “mail carrier” rather than a “package delivery guy” – that makes a big difference.
