The Bold Way
Communicating our emotions to others online can be difficult because we’re ordinarily typing them, which makes it hard to express our tone. That’s why most of us have imbibed in our heads certain writing cues to understand the writer’s emotion – a practical example is using CAPS when a person is angry. However, in this post, we see that those cues are not full proof after a woman posts a Facebook post with all CAPS, but does so due to her poor eyesight.
The reply to the post is so wholesome and thoughtful. A user decided to commensurate with her, with some show of love by commenting in CAPS after getting the initiative from the woman’s post. The user opted to reply in CAPS to ease the woman’s reading. Comments like this just warms our hearts!
