Sorry, Not Sorry
Kids can be unintentionally loud in public either when they’re crying or, talking or playing. Kids may have zero care while disturbing public peace – because they lack awareness – but their parents often apologize as they feel people get offended by this. Of course, some do feel irritated by the cries of babies in restaurants and coffee shops.
In this post, Hollie shows his solidarity to such parents and asks them to stop apologizing for their kids essentially just being kids. She added that people can always work from home if they are trying to avoid the noise, but they choose to work from cafes, well aware of the noise. Parents have no obligation to conform to the needs of people who choose to work in cafes. This is not what we expected when we read that first line!
